I am Lingxiao Wang, a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University.
I received my Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky (2021), an M.S. in Economics from Ocean University of China, and a B.A. in Economics (minor in Philosophy) from Central China Normal University. I also studied at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration in Romania (2016) and conducted dissertation research as a visiting scholar at Cornell University (2020).
My research focuses on food marketing, emphasizing how market innovations, price policies, and labeling influence food choices and long-term health outcomes. My work combines structural demand modeling with large-scale scanner data to address policy-relevant questions in food marketing, health economics, and industrial organization.
